Meridian Home Start - Place by Pinnacle

Project introduction

The Meridian Home Start portfolio comprises over 167 homes across the Royal Borough of Greenwich, south London.

Place by Pinnacle provide tenancy management and maintenance services, including tenancy engagement, income management, lettings services, cleaning and grounds maintenance, responsive repairs, void works and cyclical and planned maintenance.

Our role

In response to COVID-19, were able to introduce a completely online lettings process, allowing residents to move into their new homes despite lockdown restrictions. By undertaking virtual viewings, talking to prospective tenants about the properties and answering their questions, the homes were let extremely quickly.

Our client had been resigned to suspending lettings, meaning a loss of rental income. However, by devising a socially-distanced letting process including virtual tours, online viewings and a digitalised sign up process we were able to let all homes during lockdown. We even arranged for key boxes at the site for residents to collect their keys without the need for human contact, and carried out virtual settling in visits a couple of weeks into their tenancy starting.
